As part of an internship at Deltares, I worked on the numerical modelling side of a European project that required the assessment of the irrigation techniques impact on the recharge of the underlying aquifer. The image below sohws the layers which characterised the aquifer's domain together with the existing pumping wells. This simulation was performed using iMOD GUI for MODFLOW.
